We are excited to champion the Tree Growing Initiative across our schools, colleges, and other learning institutions around Wire Forest in partnership with The Mango Tree Orphan Support Trust – Kenya .

Today we were joined by learners, students and teachers from various schools where we distributed 6,000 seedlings of Casuarina equisetifolia also known as the Whistling pine to be planted in schools.

In attendance were

– Opondo Primary school

– Nyalenda Primary School

– Aramo Primary school

– Agoro Sare High School

– Agoro Sare Primary School

– Nyandiwa Primary School

– Waradho Primary School

– Aoko Primary School

– Nyamboro Primary School

We were also joined by the sub county Forester Mr. Harbat Imbuka and the Deputy Station manager,- Wire station among other forest Rangers and members of the CFA.

By involving learners in planting and nurturing trees, we are not only cultivating greener environments but also nurturing a generation of environmental stewards.
