Youth are not just the future—they are the now of climate action. At WIFOMA CFA, we are building a movement where young people are not only aware of climate issues but are actively shaping solutions and influencing policies at every level.
Policy Engagement & Advocacy
We collaborate with government bodies and climate stakeholders to advocate for policies that protect the environment and integrate the voices of marginalized communities. Our focus is on making youth an integral part of climate decision-making at the local, national, and global levels.
County Youth Ambassadors
Our Youth Leadership Program equips young changemakers with the skills, mentorship, and platforms to spearhead climate initiatives. These ambassadors serve as the bridge between grassroots communities and policymakers, driving forward impactful projects in renewable energy, conservation, and climate education.
Global Climate Participation & Renewable Solutions
Through partnerships with international climate platforms, we ensure that African voices—especially those of women and youth—are heard in key global dialogues. On the ground, we promote green energy adoption, supporting households and communities in the transition to solar, biogas, and eco-friendly waste management systems.
Nature-Based Solutions for Livelihoods
Projects like apiculture (bee-keeping), honey processing, nursery establishment, and school greening programs showcase how climate solutions can also provide economic empowerment. By integrating nature-based activities into local economies, we’re creating sustainable livelihoods while restoring the environment.
Why It Matters
Youth are not waiting for change—they are creating it. Through leadership, advocacy, and innovation, we are nurturing a generation that will carry forward the climate justice torch, ensuring no one is left behind in the transition to a greener world.
